So you’ve completed improv foundation classes and hungry for more? In this seven-week improvisation course, you’ll be introduced to long-form improvised performances. You’ll learn: - various ‘Chicago’ style scene editing techniques - how to use truthful storytelling to form interesting ideas for comedic scenes - how to heighten comedic elements in scenes - how to let the scene breathe - to make choices in scenes that will advance the plot - to find the comedy 'game' - two different long-form improv formats: Montage and Living Room. There may be an opportunity to perform in a long-form improvised show to an audience after completing the course.* PREREQUISITES You must have completed the Improv: Fun and Games course, OR have completed a level 1 course with another improv company.
