ABOUT DAVE Dave Eastgate is an award-winning actor, writer, stand-up comedian, musician, dancer, and stunt performer who began his comedy career in improv. He is best known for his supporting role of ‘Mick’ in the 2019 Netflix smash hit, Ronnie Chieng: International Student and and for his portrayal of cancer patient, ‘Joey’, in Channel 9's critically acclaimed drama series, Doctor Doctor, for which he received a Best Supporting Actor Logie Nomination in 2017. Most recently in 2024, Dave played the supporting role of ‘Dazza’, in Arj Barker’s Feature Film Debut, Nut Farm. Dave has appeared alongside Bryan Brown and Greta Scaachi in Darby and Joan for ABCTV, and opposite Kate McKinnon and Kyle McLachlan, in the NBC/Stan series, Joe vs Carole. Other acting credits include the multi-award-winning Netflix comedy series, A Moody Xmas and its sequel, The Moody's, for which he won the ‘2015 Equity Award for Most Outstanding Ensemble - Comedy Series’; as well as Comedy Channel’s Open Slather, ABC TV’s The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting, Hiding, Maximum Choppage, Soul Mates, and Channel 9's hugely successful comedy, Here Come The Habibs. In 2019 Dave cemented his triple threat status in the principal role of, ‘Ken Blundell’, in the Australian Tour of Muriel's Wedding the Musical and starred in Kate Miller Heidke’s multi award-winning musical comedy Bananaland. Dave's “side-hustle” has been as a TV audience warm-up artist. Beginning with the original Big Brother in 2006, Dave has kept crowds entertained between filming on X Factor, The Voice, AGT, So You Think You Can Dance, The Masked Singer, Australian Idol and almost everything in between.

Cancellations & changes Packages for improv jams: You will get a full refund of your package credit if you cancel or change your booking up to 12 hours before the improv session starts. One-off workshop, casual jams, or masterclass: You will get a refund if you cancel up to seven days before the session. Multiple-week courses: You will get a refund if you cancel up to two weeks before the course commences. For cancellations of workshops and courses that do not fall within the above timelines, you will receive credit to go towards the next class or workshop. This does not apply to cancellations of jams.
