Level 1
7-Week Course in Gold Coast & Byron Bay
Improv: Fun and Games
This is where it all begins—and where people realise they’re actually funnier than they thought! You’ll go from “umm…” to confidently jumping into games, making bold choices, and getting real laughs. You’ll have fun learning how to make up short comedy sketches on the spot and play some of the hilarious theatresports-style games made famous by the hit improv show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’. No scripts, no pressure—just a ridiculously good time.
Warning: This course is addictive—people often finish this course and immediately sign up again…or drag a friend along next time.

Best for: Absolute beginners, overthinkers, if you haven’t done improv for a long time, and anyone who needs a weekly dose of joy.
Level 2
4-Week Course in Gold Coast
Acting for Improvisers
You’ve got the improv skills—now let’s make them look effortless on stage with Acting for Improvisers, a fun, practical course designed for improvisers who have not studied acting.

This course builds your presence, physicality, and confidence so you don’t just do improv… you perform it.

Think fewer nervous habits, acting foundations and voice work that make every scene compelling, stronger choices, sharpened stagecraft, boosted stage presence, and a lot more “wow, they’re good”.
6-Week Improv Course in Gold Coast & Byron Bay
Character Relationships
This is where things get juicy. Character Relationships is one half of the foundation for long-form improv. You’ll build relationships with other characters that actually mean something, and discover how much fun it is to play something other than “yourself, but louder”. Whether you’re building a quirky friendship, a long-standing rivalry, or a heartfelt bond, you’ll discover techniques to sustain compelling interactions that captivate audiences and make your fellow performers look good.

Expect laughs, surprises, and the occasional “where did that come from?!” moment.
5-Week Improv Course in Gold Coast & Byron Bay
Fun Edits
This is the “ohhh, THAT’S how they do it” course. If you’ve had a taste of short-form improv and theatresports, try our five-week improvisation course where you’ll be introduced to long-form improvised comedy! In Fun Edits, you’ll learn the editing techniques that transform scenes from “that was fine” into “that was actually brilliant.” It’s the secret sauce behind great improv (and the other half of the foundation for long-form)—and once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Side effect: you may start mentally editing conversations in real life (use responsibly).
Level 3
Online 3-Week Course
Stageless Storytelling
No stage. No lights. No pressure. Just your voice, your imagination, and a surprisingly powerful way to tell and hear stories. Step into a pure auditory world with Stageless Storytelling, an online improv course exploring the much-loved long-form format The Bat (traditionally performed in the dark).
Without a physical stage, costumes, or props, or visuals, your listening will sharpen, and your abilities for vivid description, emotional connection, and ensemble trust will strengthen.
6-Week Course in Gold Coast
Groups and Games
Ever seen a group completely in sync and thought, “how are they doing that?”

This is how.

You’ll learn how to recognise and heighten the “game of the scene” as a collective, discover how ensemble patterns generate comedy, and develop the sense of group mind that makes improv feel effortless and where everything just clicks.
Best for: Improvisers ready to get out of the “two-person” scene mindset, sharpen comedic instincts, and make ensemble work entertaining and funny.

6-Week Course
Storytelling 1
This is where you level up to creating full-blown long-form Chicago-style improv shows.

You’ll learn how to take one tiny idea and spin it into something surprisingly genius and ridiculously funny. It’s challenging—but in the best possible “I can’t believe we just did that” kind of way.

You’ll learn the basics of telling a compelling story while learning two more long-form improv formats.
Level 4

7-Week Course
Storytelling 2
This is the next level of storytelling—the kind where an audience forgets it’s improvised.

You’ll create full-length comedic narrative shows in a chosen genre (e.g. period drama, rom-com, sci-fi), weaving characters, themes, and storylines into something brilliantly cohesive and memorable.
It’s ambitious, a little bit daring, and exactly the kind of challenge that makes you a seriously good improviser.

7-Week Course
Long-Form Musical Improv
Imagine a full-length Broadway musical…except no one knows what’s going to happen next (including you).
You’ll create characters, storylines, and songs on the spot—building towards a complete improvised musical that somehow holds together and brings the house down.
It’s big, bold, slightly chaotic, and absolutely magic.
