Terms & Conditions for improv participation

By booking into an improv workshop/jam/class/course with Blah Blah Blah Improv, you agree to the following terms & conditions:

1. Respectful Conduct: All participants are expected to treat each other, including teachers, instructors, & staff, with respect & courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, sexism, racism, or any form of disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.

2. Drugs & Alcohol Policy: It is strictly prohibited to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when performing in a show or participating in an improv class, workshop, or jam. This policy ensures a safe and professional environment for everyone involved.  If you are found to be in breach of this policy, you may be asked to leave the performance, class, workshop, or jam.

3. COVID-19 Guidelines: We adhere to local health guidelines & regulations related to COVID-19. Please follow any safety measures & protocols that may be in place during the class.

4. Animals Policy: For the comfort & safety of all participants, animals are not permitted within the venue, unless the animal is a registered service dog & is wearing a service coat or harness. If you bring an animal that does not meet these criteria, you will be asked to tether the animal outside. If you refuse to do so, you may be asked to leave.

5. Age Limit: Participants must be at least 16 years old to attend our regular improv classes & jams. We offer specific improv classes for children, & further information can be found at blahblahblahimprov.com.

6. Registration & Payments: Bookings for improv classes are subject to availability & require advance registration. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure your spot.

7. Class Content: The content of the improv class, including exercises, activities, & themes, may vary & is subject to the instructor's discretion.

8. Personal Belongings: Please take responsibility for your personal belongings during the class. Blah Blah Blah Improv is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items.

9. Photography & Videography: During the class, Blah Blah Blah Improv or authorised parties may take photographs or record video footage. By participating in the class, you grant us the permission to use such media for promotional & marketing purposes unless you otherwise tell us in writing by emailing lol@blahblahblahimprov.com.

10. Assumption of Risk: Improv involves physical movement & spontaneous actions, & while safety measures will be in place, there is a level of inherent risk. By participating in the class, you acknowledge & assume these risks.

11. Cancellations & Changes:

• Packages for improv jams: You will be credited your package credit if you cancel or change your booking up to 12 hours before the improv session starts.

• One-off workshop, casual jams, or masterclass: You will get a refund if you cancel up to seven days before the session.

• Multiple-week courses: You will get a refund if you cancel up to two weeks before the course commences.

 12. Modification of Terms: Blah Blah Blah Improv reserves the right to modify these terms & conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on our website, & continued participation in our classes will be deemed acceptance of these changes.

Payment Policy

Blah Blah Blah Improv utilises the eWAY payment gateway for payment of course, class, and workshop enrolments. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.

• Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.

• Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Blah Blah Blah Improv or any outside party.

• All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.

• All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.

• eWAY is an authorised third-party processor for all the major Australian banks.
