You’ll learn:

  • the skills needed for strong acting and character work

  • how to let the scene breathe

  • how to use truthful storytelling to form interesting ideas for comedic scenes

  • to make choices in scenes that will advance the plot

  • to find the comedy 'game'

  • two different long-form improv formats: the Armando (made famous by UCB's Asssscat) and Blah Blah Blah Improv's signature improv show, Small Town Council.

There may be an opportunity to perform in a long-form improvised show to an audience after completing the course.*
